At the Cavan Burren Park we promote the Leave no Trace Principles as well as the Geopark Code.

Join Geopark Guide Andy King for an exploration of the ancient culture and mythology of the Cavan Burren Park. This walk is quite long and will take in the sites around the Cavan Burren Park and therefore is suitable for those who are physically fit. 

Please bring your own food and drink and wear sturdy footwear and warm waterproof clothing.

The Spooky Science Workshop is sure to provide a jam-packed hour of activities with Geopark staff. Children will have the opportunity to participate in interactive hands on fun, where they will discover more about Violent Volcanoes as well as other spooky themed activities.

As it is Halloween, we expect to see everyone dressed up and there will be a thrilling, adventurous surprise provided by the Cavan Adventure Centre for the best dressed child, over the two days.

Please note that some activities may take please outdoors (weather dependent), so please ensure children wear sturdy footwear and warm waterproof clothing.

Parents feel free to have a dander around Cavan Burren Park whilst waiting on your child/ren.
